The 3D Printers for Intermediate course is designed to build on basic 3D printing knowledge and develop more advanced skills in producing accurate and functional printed parts.
You will explore the full workflow, including preparing digital models, optimising print settings and operating 3D printers safely and efficiently.
The course introduces concepts such as slicing, material selection, print quality improvement, and troubleshooting common issues. You will gain hands-on experience adjusting parameters to achieve better strength, surface finish, and precision in your prints.
This course supports practical understanding of additive manufacturing processes used in engineering and product development.
There is no formal qualification attached to this course. However, it provides valuable practical skills that support progression into engineering, design and manufacturing pathways.
