Is there a College bus service?
We offer four Free College Bus Services. The bus routes are FREE for you if you are a student at Barnsley College, Barnsley College University Centre or Barnsley Sixth Form College. At this time, the buses are running on a “first-come, first-served” basis and students do not need to book a place to access these services. Each route will operate in the morning in order to get you into College before lessons start and a return service will operate from Old Mill Lane campus at the end of the day.
For more information visit our Student Travel page.
Will I get any financial support?
There are a number of different financial support schemes on offer for students studying at Barnsley College. These can help to cover some travel costs, study programme essentials, and a contribution towards food allowance and childcare support.
