It’s National Apprenticeship Week!

Horticulture Apprentices

Apprenticeships are a great way for you to learn the practical skills to succeed in your chosen industry – whilst also getting paid!

Throughout National Apprenticeship Week 2026 (9 – 15 February 2026), we are celebrating everything that’s great about apprenticeships!

We’ll also provide key information for potential apprentices about how to apply for an apprenticeship and employers who are wanting to recruit an apprentice or upskill their existing workforce.

Information for potential apprentices

If you’d like to study an apprenticeship with us, we have all the information on how to become an apprentice to get you started.

Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to start a career and develop skills within the workplace. They allow you to enter the world of work, gain relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours whilst acquiring hands-on work experience and a wage.

Anyone aged 16 or above can apply to be an apprentice, even if you are already employed. They are available on three levels, Intermediate, Advanced and Higher, so you can gain qualifications up to degree level whilst avoiding student debt.

We offer a wide range of apprenticeship programmes in industry sectors including Accountancy; Business; Catering and Hospitality; Childcare and Education Professions; Construction; Creative and Digital Media; Engineering; Health, Science and Social Care Professions; Leadership and Management; Retail and Warehousing and Logistics.

Ready to apply?

T Levels

Would you prefer a more technical education when you come to College, rather than following a purely academic pathway, or a work-based apprenticeship?

T Levels are courses for 16- to 18-year-olds that are studied at the same level as doing A Levels.

As T Levels are studied in the classroom (80%) and in the workplace (20%), students receive the perfect mix of learning and real-world experience. Upon completion, T Level students receive a nationally recognised certificate, showing employers they are ready for the job market.
